Pracrooms and Sheffield United’s Community Foundation Forge Innovative Strategic Partnership to Deliver Unique Experiences, Promote the Physical Well-being of Elite Esports Athletes, and Nurture Esports Education for Future Industry Professionals

Sheffield, 29th April 2024 - Pracrooms, the UK’s leading esports bootcamp provider, is proud to announce an exciting strategic partnership with Sheffield United's Community Foundation. This collaboration builds upon the existing relationship between the brands, synergising the worlds of esports and football, promoting one of the UK’s most historic football clubs to Pracrooms’ international clientele, and combining expertise from both fields to offer unparalleled services and opportunities for guests.

Pracrooms has quickly established itself as the UK’s, and one of Europe’s, leading bootcamp destinations. With our existing commitment to excellence across our facilities and service, for the world's most elite esports athletes, we are constantly looking for unique opportunities to innovate, identifying new ways to add value beyond gaming for our guests. Now, through this groundbreaking partnership with Sheffield United's Community Foundation, Pracrooms is expanding its offerings, further encompassing a holistic approach to health and wellness, through the world's most popular sport, orchestrated through a local, historic football club.

Sheffield United's Community Foundation, and the wider Sheffield United Football Club, bring decades of experience in promoting physical and mental well-being through sport, education, and community engagement, and Pracrooms, a subsidiary of the Endpoint Group, will establish unique experiences with a consumer focus, working with the club and the foundation.

Pracrooms guests will be able to benefit from:

- Complimentary match-day tickets to professional football fixtures

- Access to an extensive team of athletic support staff

- Access to football and physical development sessions

- Workshops on health, nutrition, and lifestyle delivered from Bramall Lane

Meanwhile, the Endpoint Group, as an established leader within the UK esports market, and the most successful organisation outside of London, will focus on support in the delivery of esports education for the Community Foundation’s cohort of Level 3 BTEC Esports Management students. With a team of industry professionals across a multitude of disciplines, the Foundation’s students will benefit from the years of experience that conceived and scaled the Endpoint brand. As a trusted institution deeply rooted in the local community, the Foundation’s ethos of community responsibility, inclusivity, and education are firmly aligned with the values of the Endpoint Group.

Peter Thomspon, Endpoint Group Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder expressed, “We are thrilled to partner with Sheffield United's Community Foundation. We care passionately about creating touchpoints within education, particularly within our region. We want to share the learnings that derive from the trials and tribulations we face as an organisation in the hopes they empower future esports professionals.”

Jamie Sykes, the manager of the Pracrooms brand, and Business Development Executive for the Endpoint Group added, “This strategic partnership continues to solidify Pracrooms as the provider of choice for the world's leading organisations. We’re creating an offering that goes beyond the game, and delivers value at all levels of the bootcamp experience, enabling team success through a variety of workshops and experiences on top of our already leading equipment and hospitality”.

“I am delighted to announce this exciting partnership forged between the Foundation and the Endpoint Group. This collaboration will provide our college students with invaluable experiences and insight within the realms of professional gaming. Whereas, the Foundation will support Endpoint through providing educational resources and physical activity opportunities to amplify their service portfolio,” said Ryan Collins, the Education Manager of Sheffield United’s Community Foundation.

As esports continues its trajectory in popularity and recognition, collaborations like this underscore the industry's potential to positively impact communities and individuals worldwide. The partnership between the Endpoint Group and Sheffield United's Community Foundation represents a significant step forward in bridging the gap between esports and traditional sports, whilst setting a new standard for holistic experiences in the esports bootcamp market.
