If you’re an esports professional seeking out a bootcamp for a MOBA game like DOTA 2 or League of Legends, what goes on outside the bootcamp is just as important as what goes on inside. Combatting homesickness is important, especially for Chinese and Asian esports players, to counteract culture shock and ensure that professional esports players can compete at the optimum level.
Our Pracrooms Sheffield HQ is not only the UK’s #1 professional esports bootcamp facility, it’s also handily located next to key amenities and in particular the New Era Square development - often called Sheffield’s equivalent of Chinatown. This means customers have access to oriental supermarkets, bubble tea, Chinese and pan-Asian restaurants, Asian barbers and much much more - all within fifteen minutes from our HQ and luxury apartments. If you’re looking at professional esports bootcamps for practice in Europe or for upcoming tournaments such as PGL Wallachia Season 4, Pracrooms is the perfect place for you.
Check out our top suggestions:
Many Mart and KH Oriental Supermarket
Both these supermarkets import foods from China, Japan, Korea and many other Asian countries meaning you can get all the supplies you need to cook in our HQ kitchen or one of our luxury apartments. There’s also a wide range of snack foods, dried and fresh fruit and vegetables, and frozen and dairy products. KH Oriental Supermarket is an extra five minutes from the headquarters but carries a wider range of products than Many Mart.
Chayu Bubble Tea

They mix fruity and milky flavours and handpunch their fruit on site, aiming for an authentic experience. And for the truly adventurous they have a range of desserts as well as sweet potato-based teas - unlike anything else on the market. Perfect to pick up and bring back to HQ, or spend some time away from the bootcamp if you prefer.
Panenka Bar and Grill
A sports bar that opened in late 2024, Panenka offer a wide range of live sporting events for you to watch from the Premier League to boxing and the Super Bowl. But if you fancy something a bit different their mezzanine is dedicated to gaming, including AR darts, snooker and pool tables, arcade games and shuffleboards - perfect for relaxing with your friends a short distance from home. They also offer an Asian-themed food menu including curry, bao buns, burgers and wings.
